We are writing to inform you that our family-owned tree service, Mallon Tree Service, has been acquired by another family: Colton Hansberry, the owner and operator of Hillcrest Tree Care.

Colton is a former employee of ours who is an experienced ISA Certified Arborist and local family man. He was trained in the art of arboriculture at Heartwood Tree Company, one of the top tier tree services in Madison, WI. Colton worked for Mallon Tree Service for several years and built a rapport with Kyle and I that has only grown deeper during our shift from Mallon to Hillcrest. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. You may have already seen him on one of our job sites as he has been working side by side with Kyle for some time!

We are confident that you will be in good hands with Colton and that he will continue to provide exceptional tree care services. We are proud to see him take the reins and continue the tradition of excellence that we have worked hard to establish over the years. We will be working closely with Colton and his team to ensure a smooth transition and will be available to answer any questions you may have during this time.

As a result, we have decided to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey in the construction industry under our new clever business name: Mallon Contracting.
